I think its the accent

Had an interesting experiment flying back from Colombia. In the seat behind me overheard a young married lady talking saying her parents were Colombian but she had lived her whole life in the USA.  She had the attractive Colombiana features but talked like the typical spoiled well heeled 35 year old American housewife. Something is lost when you lose the beautiful accent. I of course realize I have saved you all years of self analyis  with this discovery..... Happy Holidays.
