Legitimate?Well yes it is a real agency..
Margareth of latin encounters called it a fake agency because Mike,the owner of Calivip supposedly made a deal with both her and ex husband Recardo who runs All Colombian girls to basically buy about 300 girls from them to get his agency started.The girls are still available at their agencies also.He supposedly got the pictures of the girls but paid only about 10% of the agreed upon amount and they did not give him the contact imformation on the girls.So they contend he is showing girls as available who he does not have the contact imformation on.Don't bet on it.He has new pictures of most all the girls.I think he got them over there for the photos so probably knows how to contact them.He also had a party attended by about 150 girls,so he knew how to contact them.The knock on the party by the girls was very few guys.It sounds great for the guys but the girls get bored.
Also he hung out at Margareths agency for a month ?? or so,alot when she was gone.Don't bet he didn't get all the imformation he needed then.
The other story is that he stiffed his web page designer,who did do an excellent job,and didn't pay him.
This is all rumor.I know 3 guys who met him and were impressed that he was very serious.
The biggest problem he has in my opinion is getting the $795 a week if you don't stay there or $1295 a week if you do.To do this he will need to attract new guys interested in coming here that are not savy to the other possibilities.That is doable,lots more guys would be willing to come if they were aware of the woman situation here.And lots of guys pay $1000 for a tour company to throw 2 parties for them,mostly virgins to the process.That makes Mike's fees look cheap by comparison.I mean $1000 for 2 parties or $1295 for a week in a mansion with unlimited introductions.The tours have to be the biggest sucker deal going but even some savy guys just like the scene with 300 girls or so.
So yes,its for real.And he may not have all the contact imformation.How he is doing I don't know.
As far as the house,I spent 21  days there in 1999 and 2000.I loved it.I thought the $100 a night Bud who had the old Latin love there charged was a fair deal.
We will see.He needs to really draw alot of new people to make it fly.Trying to draw a share of the already savy guys will be almost impossible,and there are not enough of them to go around anyway.Unless he draws lots of new guys he won't make it.I see TLC advertises in USA today.Maybe he needs that plus some other ideas.The problem with drawing guys from the web is they can easily search and see all the other less expensive options.
My bet is it won't fly.And stiffing people in COLOMBIA is NOT smart.

Hi Pete,
Of course it´s a real agency with about 300 unreal member which belong to my agency and Ricardo´s agency; whenever you want I can send you the names of those girls he cant contact in case any of you want to meet them.
Pete, he never paid 10% of anything to us.  It is true he was coming to Latin Encounters for a month, he was a very clever man like a wolf wearing a sheep costume, but he NEVER had access to the private information, I know that for sure.  It is not a rumor, it´s true he didn´t pay to the enginner Wilson Lasso the webpage he created with so much effort, is that something a serious man would do?
I also found out he is having problems with the real state agency that he rented the house from, is that something a serious man would do?
In over 10 years I have been working with this service, I have seen how many agencies have started: mi media naranja, mis gringuitos, amor latino, etc,,,etc,,etc, and I´ve also seen how they have vanished and I am still here, I think it´s good to have business competitors, because in case the Americans dont feel satisfied with the agency that brought them here, they look for other alternatives which is really good for me; With my experince I have helped thousands of good hearted, honest men that were looking for good women and good wives and tey are already sharing their lives together, I also have a long list of happy ending cases.  I have always thought that business competitors are good but only when they are honest,unfortunately this is not the case.  I felt it was my duty to announce it by this means so that everybody can make their own judgement.  I feel like I am a representative of the traditional Colombian women, I respect your opinions and I will continue to be here if God lets me, helping good American men in their search.

The other thing I was going to say is he had better not screw around with the people who own that house.Last people you want to mess with.
In will bet he has some of the contact imformation,even if he did not get it from you or Ricardo.He did get 100-150 girls over for the party.

Heh. I remember paying Luz Amparo (Latin Best) $80/wk for intros and she did a good work for me. I met about 30 girls (one-on-one) in that 1 week. I stayed in a hotel nearby for $35/day.

Pete, I heard from a friend of mine that Luz turned the agency over to the wife of her brother.  Her name is Maritza Bueno and she used to work at Latin Internet and later Amor in Cali.

for what it is worth, i used Luz several months ago and thought her agency was a joke...and a fellow gringo at my hotel felt the same. but maybe it is better under new ownership. i was happier with Ricardo's operation. i visited his ex but never was able to agree on a price.

I used Latin Best back in 2002, no complaints whatsover.  Her assistant at the time Patricia was very well organized, she wasted no time making my appointments and I thought the quality of women that I met was very good. Latin Best had a good selection of women across all ages.  The $80 I spent for a weeks worth of introductions was the best money I ever spent.

I was just thinking.I paid $100 a night for 21 nights at the house  Calivip is in.And thought it was an OK deal.I was comparing it to $80 hotels and liked it better at the house.So if mike does get the $1295 for a week,then rents rooms for $60 a night and includes all services after that at 22 days you break even with the $100 a night price.
I had one  savy to this business Colombiano over here the other night.Said I should be getting $60 a night for rooms,not $35.The problem is guys have wanted to look at my costs and pay a share of them.But if they are not willing to bite off everything I had to do to get this place then they need to forget that and compare with their other options.One guy was paying about $100 a night with all the costs at the Intercontinental ,I let him move in here for $10 a night and supposedly an hour of spanish lessons a day,which happened all of 2 times in 56 days. Also part the agreement was he would take the maids room and untill anyone wanted to pay up for a big room.In the meantime he could have the big room for the $10 a night.well when I had a chance to rent the big rooms,actually could have rented 2 of them to 2 guys who wanted to stay together and  he didn't want to move.I should have kicked his ass out.THEN he didn't pay me,said the check is in the mail ect.Finally paid when he wanted to stay again then didn't pay me total for some of that time.Then tells other people I am not going to pay for his apartment.Pisses me off every time I think about it.Either search 2 months,spend about $3000 in stuff for the apartment and bite off a year lease with 7 months up front or rent a fu-king hotel.Don't compare with my costs unless you want to do what I did.If you do,then just do it.
Then we could talk about all the stuff I buy,beer,food, that disapears without anyone paying me back.
I probably should charge $60 a night,take it or leave it.It compares to the cost of a $40 room when you consider tax,phone calls,computer charges,laundry,ect. Give someone a deal and you attrack the cheapest fu-kers.A guy gets charged $560 for 56 days,drinks my beer eats my food,doesn't pay me all of the rent it and then b!tches.
No more  deals like that,.No more GUYS like that here.
He was intertaining,but a flaky fu-king SOB.
Also,its a lot better for having the girls over.Girls who wouldn't go to your hotel room will come here and hang out.Its more comfortable.Nice big place,kitchen,huge patio,private jacuzzi,pool.
Didn't start off real good today for a guy who was going to spend less time posting today.But the cost issue just brought up some stuff that still pisses me off.

Rent rooms to guys I like having around for $35 a night,cheaper on a monthly basis.I think its a fair mid point price.
But heavy on the like having you around.There are lots of guys I didn't even tell I rent rooms that I met.They might be OK but I would just think do I want them here?If the guy feeling is no then its no.
If I move but keep the place for a rental it will be more business like.
