I don't know about you guys, but I am on Ivan overload.  I have been dealing with it nonstop for 48hrs and it won't stop soon.

It needs to be renamed to either Google or Marklar.  Marklar is probably most appropriate.

At any rate, I will porbably be evacing Sunday.  I have a Jetblue flight out of Lauderdale on Monday around noon.  I will probably be caught up in unnecessary airport closure idiocy, however.

They close the KW airport today at noon, so the TSA staff can evacuate.  Amazing how bureacracy works, isn't it?  But they need to evacuate instantly, since Marklar can cover the current 700mile distance to key West real fast at 11knots.

Key West is a ghost town.  Its quite impressive.  Non-residents cannot get in, and residents are probably blocked at this point also.  I feel so much safer.

*** in fact I am beginning to doubt the power of this storm.  It is much smaller than, say, Georges, how it holds up near Jamaica will be very telling.  But its eyewall is some intense wind.

Things like airports and roads working like normal if the storm actaually starts heading there.Panic will insue.Think of the worse case, dead,a real if small possibility and get the hell out EARLY.
The other problem with leaving is you might actually travel in to the path of the storm. So again, the word are safety, early.Think west Georgia or north from there.
