Do you have the stats. on marriages of american men married to foreign women (omen that were born and raised in a different culture than our own)?? .

I would like to see the stats. on american men married to women of different nationalities than on ethnic backgrounds. If you marry a women that was raised in the U.S. then she is has american values and is an american.

I have looked and looked for reliable statistics on divorce rates for American-Foreign marriages and I have not found anything reliable.

I have seen no HARD evidence to back up the claim that these marriages are more successful.

The info my buddy gave (2%) was that of American men married to women from their own countries and broght back here. Not of American men married to Latin Americans or Asian Americans.

Since I can't cite the source I know it's only "hear say" but it is the closest thing I have ever had to go on.

I know he did his homework, but you guys don't, so I can respect any skepticism. This was about 5 years ago too.

Pete, you're right. The other secret about these statistics is that economics and location matter. People in the middle class and above have lower divorce rates than in the lower classes. The divorce rates are also lower in places like the northeast where people are less transient than out here in the west.
