I sent the I-751 removal of conditional status request back in August 03, and I recieved a letter about 3 montsh later extending my wifes green card 1 year. Does anyone know how long its taking for the approval? I hope I dont have to go to an interview, but if I do thats fine. My wife is wanting to take a trip to Peru this year and her Green Card says expired. We have the letter from DHS, but I wonder if I should go to the regional office and get her passport stamped? Or just wait. Anyone's take on this?

I had to send it to the Texas Service Center. I heard they are way behind too. I will probably give them a couple more months and then call to find out the status of her new green card.
