Can anyone tell me my options to travel between Cali and Manizales; also how far and how much by various travel modes.

Thanks,
Terence

We went to Manizales twice by bus from Cali. It's about five hours and I think it cost about $7 or $8. I don't know if there is an air option. It's kind of close for that.

There were about 4-5 flights out of Bogota daily, I believe there may have been certain days with a direct flight from Cali - either way, cost was around $100 US round trip.
The airstrip was interesting, if you can picture a mountain with it's top cut off - that's what it looked like - defintitely not room for the big jets.

Car Rental option is what I did, and the road is quite safe (from guerrilla, not land/rock slides).  Not the cheapest option but great scenery along the way.  We made it back in just over 3 hours and that was to the south of Cali.

I posted a post with a link to some trip photos recently in case you missed it - Manizales is a neat place.

I flew in from Bogota once. What's wierd is as the plane is landing on the runway it's going slightly downhill.
