Last weekend

Another thing I forgot to mention was that last Friday I arranged dinner with a buddy of mine who was from the same city as my novia (Guadalajara) who lives in Detroit but his wife was from an area of Mexico called Mituacon. My novia did not like his wife because she was from a poorer part of Mexico then where my novia was from and called my buddies wife the equivalent of "Mexican trailer trash" My novia said that my friends wife was materialistic and greedy and many other bad things and said my friend from the same city as her married below his class because she was more indian then Spanish. Apparently Spanish Mexicans discriminate against Mexican indians alot. My buddy can't stand his wife and is ready for a divorce soon and agrees with my novia 100% with everything she says about his wife. Anyway my buddy also told me that in the Mexican section of Detroit the churches discriminate to. He said there is a church where most of the caucasion Mexicans go and a church where the Mexican indians go. I really do not understand what all this discrimination is about but on Sunday I took my novia to the church with the Spanish Mexicans and she met tons of people from her home town. Now she is very happy that she has friends from her native city. All this stuff is kind of strange to me but I am pretty much going with the flow. Also there is a guy I work with from Bogota and I asked him what he thought about girls from Guadalajara and he said he loves them. He says they are very easy going and layed back and really know how to take care of their man. I agree with him to a certain extent lol. I also asked him about Colombian women and he said that he prefers Colombian women over American women but he said overall if he had to pick, he would choose Guadalajara and he said I made an excellent choice in picking this location to find my novia.
