It's 4AM here in Brazil, and there's been no use trying to sleep for the past hour. Brazil is playing Costa Rica in Asia and the neighborhood is awake, roaring and setting off cherry bombs every time Brazil scores (it's 5-2 at the moment). Since I'm awake, here's a link I found yesterday which some of you might be interested in, a Spanish for foreigners program at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Cali:

Come to think of it, though, I'm about to sign up for Portuguese classes here at the Universidad Federal de Santa Caterina in Florianópolis.

Right now it's winter here, the relatively slow season, but from December to January this island and its 42 beaches are packed with Brazilians, Argentinians, Paraguayans, and Uruguayans. Even now there is a highly disproportionate number of single women here, many of them quite attractive. Brasileiras are great, and there are even a lot of blondes here, if you like them. There has been a lot of Italian, Polish, Ukrainian, and Japanese immigration down south here.
