Everything is still going well with my novia. Now I have realized one thing the leads to conflict 99% of the time is latina pride and stubborness. I explained to my novia that I know that many Mexican women have a tremendoes amount of pride and at times stubborness, but I explained to her it is important to have an open mind and to be flexible and it is ok to have pride but the stubbornness issue should be forgotten. We discussed it for many hours and ever since we have discussed this she has treated me like a king. I think because she has never been to another country before and has some very close minded beliefs this is what made it kind of hard for her to adapt at first. Just to give you an example of how stubborn she can be sometimes, We went down in my basement last week to do some laundry and there were some weights I work out with down in the basement. She saw one weight that was 80 pounds and she said "Mike that weight is heavy, it is 80 kilos" I explained to her it was not 80 kilos, it was 80 pounds. She said no it was 80 kilos and she refused to admit she was wrong lol. I said ok hun it is 80 kilos and kept my mouth shut after that. This was before we had out little discussion lol.
