I've been called allot of things in my life...

One thing about a single dimension online forum, is the lack of ability to truely understand one another here. If we were to all meet one day a roundtable discussion...how colorful would that be? And all the preconcieved notions and judgements we had made previously about one another! To me...it is what make life so interesting...people...

What is admirable here is the defense of our pursuits...in the face of perpetual critics...usually by those who do not understand us and our desires we KNOW we can turn into reality. How many of you have tried to convince your friends to join you in your travels SOTB, only to be rejected? Or explain to loved ones so they understand, only for then to shake their heads in lack of understanding...

It is truely a personal choice and decision to follow your dreams...not to be an armchair quarterback. I believe we here want to live our lives dreams, to turm fantasy into reality. If I stopped my pursuits each time I was criticised in life, I'd have gotten nowhere. Sure I make mistakes...and I'll continue to make them. I made one in Cali with a lady I married there 4 years ago, divorced after a year...but I'm back after galavanting around SA, Costa Rica and the DR...because DESPITE the error of MY ways, I believe as most who are here (to benefit from each others input) that in Colombia there exist beauty, brains, personality, love, loyalty and quality exist in a virtually untapped resource of women.

So I say bravo for the brave...to face uncertain danger for the adventures of the heart, to travel to a foreign land fraght with strife and exotic women...waiting and hoping for the same dreams to be fullfilled...to find true love...

Please do not be so paraniod, un cameron que se duerma, el corriente se lo lleva. That is a saying that does not mean you are a sleeping shrimp. It is a general saying that means the one who goes through life with his eyes closed or with his head up you know where, will be taken away by the "current" ie life. It was just a way to point out you have to see more than your side of the coin. I called a buddy back in Washington Heights, NYC, to discuss the supierority of the Colombian race over the Dominican race, that you chose to point out here. Someone is very pompous here Bob......

AW I want, I want, I want...and looks aren't the only reason to head south...it is of course apparent that it is a primary reason. If all I want was a hottie...I'd continue to go to the DR. They are just as hot as Colombians...but not the class, education, upbringing or personality. I can make no apology for my response. Before YOU post...you should think about what you will state herein. Albeight...you did state that you'd probably spark some attention. It appeared to me and possibly others that you were bashing us...we are bretheren here in pursuit of the same dreams...
