Yahtzee!!....Next Stop Dallas

Just heard from Beatriz, she was approved for her Visa.

FYI, here is what she did.  She arrived Sunday afternoon. Yesterday she went to get her medical exams and blood work. She also paid for the Visa at the bank in fron of the Embassy.

She woke up early this morning for her interview. I think she said she she waited in line to get in for 2 hours, then she had to wait an hour once inside before her interview. She said the gringo consular officer was very polite and nice.

She has to return tomorrow at 3 pm to pick up the Visa (sounds like they take it from her and put the Visa in there) and she will then return to BQ with her sister.

Whew!! I sure was stressed out....I'll be going to get her next week in BQ.

Ok Mike congrats!...but when does the suspenseful terrorizing chase scene begin?  And what about those two mysterious and nervous looking guys dressed in trench coats and lurking on the corner?  One's a midget with orange hair and the other looks like Groucho Marx.  What're they up to?  Hey..we need an episode!  We're spoiled.  LOL.

Sorry to disappoint you but I have found I like driving in the right hand lane rather than living in the fast lane down there.  The good news is there isn't a shortage of drama stories on this board....geesh.

I'm glad to hear that.  You know sometimes a guys intentions are good but the wrong message is delivered.  That's why I always try to use "LOL" to let the receiver know my intent.  But it's easy to cross the line here...hey after all this board is like a locker room or beer party at times.  Of course things are always sensitive when talking about one's fiance or mom or family or manhood or politics or religion.  I've only met one poster on this board and that's Edge on a TLC tour.  So really I don't have real clues about anybody else here except what I read.  Now you've made yourself transparent with your web site.  That's a very admirable thing and Houndog has also blessed the board with his photos and story.  To me that takes courage and shows to me anyway that you are trying to make this a quality experience.  Good luck.
