to invite your sorry a** out of here!!  If you're so ashamed of this great land, why don't you go live with "poor villified Fidel?"  Instead of thanking God that you live in a land where you are free to speak your views, you choose to call your own people a name -- what a piece of work.  It's obvious you're just another spoiled jerk, adept at Monday Morning Quarterbacking & who probably never had to endure real hardships in life like Alberto has.  This isn't even his country & he loves her more than you do.  My, my, aren't you proud of yourself?  I'm just thankful that I didn't serve this country with the likes of you because I probably wouldn't be here right now to talk about it.

I'm glad if you served our country.  I did, too, during Vietnam.  Now I suffer from a permanent disability.  Perhaps this is not the kind of hardship you referred to that would qualify me to render an opinion in this forum.

By the way, I will never personally insult you or tell you to leave the country for expressing your opinion here, even if I disagree with you.

Sorry ! maybe you had been brainwashed by a mighty propaganda machine, I'm a cuban and I tell you you are dead wrong. Castro is a murderous dictator, that has used the embargo and other shortsightness in the US goverment to promote his cause, the US is guilty of ignorance like, many here, that claim to "know" Cuba or other country, because they heard something or just because they visited the country for a vacation. I lived there all my life until I was forced to leave, because I did not agree with the goverment. Just explain me this: Why a tropical Island with the most fertile lands in the world, has been under a permanent ration of foods for 40+ years?  The reason: programmed misery in order to curtail any guerrillas by the people of Cuba, no food, no guerrillas.  I have plenty of information for you if you want to listen.

Regards

Alberto

Alberto is dead right.  Don't be a fool, listen to the truth from a man who's been there and fought Castro.

Raptor, we should give Bret and Hamlet a loooong vacation in Cuba with no dollars, a ration card, political pressure every minute, force them to go to "willingly" to Castro's speeches, work for $5 a month, travel outside the country is forbidden and so on.  I want to ask their opinion, after this "vacations" they will kiss the US soil.

In fact the same Control Mechanisms are used throughout the world. Along with imprisonment and/or death of disintors. Those any many more are the tools of tyrany.

you guys are making some pretty strong generalizations about places you have never been!

education is the key to success, and i question your depth of knowledge and understanding about cuba and it's people.

so, what planet are you from?
