Back from St. Petersburg

Fellow posters.  I just arrived back from a month in SPb.  My home computer crapped out just before I left, so can't post much for awhile til I get it fixed.  Still suffering jet lag now.

Anyway, SPb is more messed up now than it was last year.  I am referring to all the work being done for next years 300th birthday celebration.  Many, many of the lesser museums are closed for rennovation.  The area around Sadova metro is an unbelieveable mess.  Nevsky street and sidewalks are much better than last year.  However, I doubt seriously if they are going to be done with everything even by the end of next year.

I made same type of trip as before.  Met with 12 ladies and had about 20 backups if needed.  And backups were needed as there always seems to be a rash of last minute happenings with some of my original first choices.  For instance, one lady had to go to Belarus because of sick father.  Another just took a job after having been out of work for 3 months.  I cut her out because my plan is always to spend one initial day and then 5 or so later if things work out.  With a new job, I knew she couldn't get the 5 days off.  She really pi$$ed (that I wouldn't spend one day with her) but couldn't be helped.  Another was transferred to Moscow a week before I arrived.  She also wanted to come back to spend Sats and Suns with me, but that wouldn't work for 5 day meetings, so had to replace her also.  I pitty the guys who go to meet just one lady because the one lady for me could have been one of these three and I would have been up sheet creek.

Also, I am starting to agree with some who say that SPb and other large cities may be getting 'fished out,'  at least in some sense of the concept.  Sure, there are thousands of ladies available there, but almost every one has some serious drawback.  And let me be the first to state that I (and most every guy here) also have some serious drawbacks.  I can't detail all of the situations (regarding drawbacks) but I do have one point of reference.

By error, a lady from a smaller town far from SPb and myself got involved in the initial correspondence process.  I told her of the mistake and that we should stop corresponding because I wouldn't be making any trips to her area.  She basically refused to stop corresponding and went to great lengths to try to meet with me in SPb.  She was much more agreeable to any types of arrangements, etc., than were most of the SPb 'hometown ladies.'  Admittedly, this is a very small sample, but it gave me some hints that the 'pickings' may be a lot better outside of the major towns as many others have suggested here.

As I noted earlier, I dropped down my lower age limit to 35 from the 40 I had been using before.  I was a bit warry, but as it turned out, two of my top four ladies were aged 35 and 37.  None of the ladies under age 40 seemed to mind my age (50) at all.  In fact, the only mention of age was that they thought I looked to be in my early 40s.  I don't think I look that young, but perhaps compared to Russian guys I do.  I didn't really know the ages of Russian guys that I dealt with (some business meetings) so I can't really get a handle on the 'how old we look compared to the Russian guy's thing.'

But I can verify that the Russian guys still come out on the short end of the stick when it comes to pleasing the ladies in a sexual sense.  Every single lady that I had romance with mentioned that the Russian guys never took the care that I did to ensure that the experience was highly pleasureable for them.  Some were so shocked by my words about this issue (telling them that I would insure their pleasure one way or another) that they almost resisted getting started.  They just didn't know what to make of my statements and didn't know how they should react.

A trip that emphasizes your cocksmanship is not really appropriate for this forum. I don't think it's necessary to tell of your intimate exploits with the St. Petersburg slu ts. Perhaps the Lonely Planet board is a better forum for your type of trip report. There is a section on LP for sexual vacations and I think they would appreciate it more. Not here. I'm sure there are many PL posters who have partaken of the abundant loose RW but, this forum is for romance and for serious marital relationships, not sexploits.

Gee, as much as I REALLY hate disrupting the Mutual Admiration Society that you all have going...

I feel obligated to point out (for any newbies who don't know who's who yet...) that in the two years I have been reading this board I have read numerous posts from Barry M where he:

* Instructed us on Russian Language Lessons

* Pontificated at length about the sanctity of the Russian Orthodox Religion

* Attempted to apply his "High Moral Standards" to determine what posts are and are not suitable for this board

However... since in that two year period, he has NEVER made ONE single SOLITARY trip abroad, and (the last I heard) has no plans to do so now... your claim that he will only "seek a woman of high morals" is amazing.

Just what, pray tell, is your definition of the word: SEEK.

At least JR has been there. So has Mark H. You call them not serious, but treat Barry M as though he is? Amazing.

And, Jack, considering your infamous post about "the little blue pill" I am astounded at your audacity in criticizing JR's post for its sexual content.

Do you have that short of a memory? Or were you hoping that we all did...?

I guess this is what happens when a closet dickhead comes out after he is on the home stretch of the K-1 process. The biggest weakness in a lot of guys going for "MOB's" is that they're egotistical pricks. I don't know what it is that makes em so goofy like that but it's true. Mark is definately an egotistical prick who seems to be showing his true colors now that he is "home free". He doesn't really need the boards' help anymore so he's telling many of us what he really thinks.

I've explained myself a long time ago and I'm not going to tell it again.

Wow... I'm so excited to have won this award...

I have such a large list of people to thank... I hardly know where to begin!

First of all, I would like to thank the Academy for voting for me. It is truly an honor.

Like all great performances... this was really a team win. I really wouldn't feel right if I took all of the credit for this historic award...

It just wouldn't have been possible without the unprecedented assistance from Bragg's Brigade. Jack... Barry... Dan... Oh, I'm sure I'm forgetting some... please forgive me if I've left you out. I'm just so nervous right now its hard to think...

But ALL of Bragg's Brigade... I mean... what can I say?

Their steadfast devotion to themselves... their unwavering predictability.... and their incredible sense of self-importance really did all of the work.

I feel humbled to be given this award, when really, my part in this was so small. All I did was take the openings given to me. I feel like a bit player on a stage of prima donnas. It is truly humbling...

But... I guess there can only be one winner... so I will accept this award with deep-felt thanks.

For one thing, there are MANY people who read and who don't post... so it is presumptuous for you to say what the board members want.

I wasn't offended by his post. Others weren't either.

I would prefer to reserve judgement before deciding what his posts are all about.

Out of 7 paragraphs, only one mentioned his "intimacy" with anyone. And he didn't go into any detail. He just said that the women he was with said the Russian men were selfish lovers. That is hardly gloating in my eyes...

As I mentioned before... That's nothing like when a certain member on here bragged about screwing a lady so hard that she had to beg him to stop... and then gave out the URL for her bio... and you said nothing then, I notice...

So... back off on speaking for the whole board Barry. We don't need you to be the Morality Police. We're all adults here. We can make up our own minds...

JR, you've got an attitude which makes me question your decision to pursue Russia as a stomping ground instead of your local eastcoast mid-age factory outlet fantasy bar scene. I'm thinking that you're working against most members and readers of this board by acting in a manner that would repulse most Russian women against American men EXCEPT those consumed by the Russian Big City night life. Maybe I am wrong. Who knows? Should there be a seperate webpage exclusively for Moscow, NYC, St. Pete., and LA swinging singles? Maybe the type of women that you might attract are the ones that should not be in the 'Marital Seeking System' (whatever that is) anyway. Maybe you just like to talk about your studly powers and big d___, maybe, maybe, maybe.

I have a news flash for you: Sex is part of the marriage pursuit.  JR did not go into any details and reported valuable information for the guys here.  I know that I had a lot of questions regarding sex and the single RW before I went on my trips.  Most newbies have the same questions now.  With your (and others)Puritanical attitudes, it is no wonder those questions are never asked.  Geez.

Ken, drop the "puritanical attitude" BS because you have no basis for it.  I like a good boff in the hay as much as the next guy (probably more!)  To me, and I guess others according to their posts, JR's presentation sounds a lot more like locker room bragging about the number of notches on his unit than any legitimate sharing of information that others might find useful.  Just what "valuable information" did you pick up on?  

Was it that the the St. Pete area has been "fished out" based on JR's personal evaluation of his "score ratio"?  This sounds to me like the ad on cable TV where the exhausted guy announces "I reached the end of the
internet."

Was it that RW are seeking emigration because RM, in general, treat them like meat?  ...like you didn't already know this?  JR doesn't even address the impossible economical oppression that these women are trying to flee.  While he does not say it, the tone of his saga implies that RW are attracted to his benevolent and satisfying sexual prowess as the main motivation for moving half way around the world.

Was it that you should meet with 12 ladies and have 20 backups to insure your success?  As much as Jack is a proponent to having a backup plan, he too is obviously gagging on JR's presentation.  JR is doing a numbers game and going for quantity vs. quality and that's probably the type of gal he's gonna attract.  Maybe that's what you're after.  Different strokes for different folks I guess... Seems to me that if you live close enough to a large city in the USA, you can easily find the local meat market bar scene and play the JR style numbers game w/o having the expense of dating someone who doesn't even speak your language or understand your culture and is 12,000 +/- miles away.  

I, and I think a lot of others, am interested in something a bit above that and am willing to take on the additional and expected trials and tribulations of pursuing a foreign bride.  i.e., I am looking for something better or I would not be doing this.  Thus, to me, it makes no sense to pursue it in a manner that has not produced results in the mid-life, bald-headed, work the circuit, cruise for your age minus 20+, and hope your Viagra Rx doesn't run out, American Bar Scene.  I love Russian women and that is why I am focussing there, but to do so on the same basis that seems to be an established routine in the US makes no sense to me.  I think JR is trapped into that kind of thinking.

Unlike other trip postings, I just do not see a value in this one.  All I see is a guy stroking himself and falling in love with the sound of it all.

After reading this, if you still think I'm puritanical, then you and I are living on different planets.  I've already chased a lady's scent that I thought had long term potential, 13,000 +/- miles but I'll be d____d if I'm gonna fly light years to explore your mind!  And I'll be d____d  if I can figure out the "valuable information" you derived from JR's tripe.

I see your point of view on JR bragging about his conquests and such, but I still see some valuable information in it.  He makes a point that RM do not take care of their women in bed.  RW are surprised when AM step up to the challange of satisfying them.  THAT is good information in my opinion.  I have heard this before and I have also heard that RW have a high regard for the sexual abilities of AM.

Basically, I am by nature a rude and vulgar person.  That's me.  Kapish?  Long, long ago I quit apologizing for that.  You are quite valid in bringing that subject up.  I once made a s___p__ full of money and traveled for free all over the US by being that way.  In a sense I guess you would have called me a professional arsehole.  I was a surety bond underwriter specializing in the underwriting and placement of high risk contractor accounts including the likes of John Gotty Plumbing, Inc., NYC.  I passed on working with this account but I bring it up because the

Further, I guess I overshot the runway in assuming that the people involved in reading this forum already understood the facts of life re: RW women emigrating to the US.  Duh, to me it should already be common knowledge re: RW being unsatisfied with RM.  Duh, why in the H___ do you think they are interested in you and/or moving half way around the world in the first place?  Did not you already know that?

You said the magic words in my book, "I appologize."  Well so do I. You do not now seem to be coming from from a malicious attitude and I hope you realize that neither do I.  I think it's important to discuss the sexual angle of all this cross-cultural mixing -- to ignore it is idiotic.  JR's novellete was not presented in that mode -- it was more like a James Bond Saga written by James Bond regarding his amazing ability to service women across cultural boundries... sheet, give me a break -- it's not puritan to reject this kind of crapola.
