Maybe, Ry...she is just giving you a look at her goods in the swimsuit.  Maybe to keep your interest as she is probably quite sure you have heard from other females.  For most females there--- the competition for a decent guy borders on the overwhelming.  Most know they are in a competition with other ladies for the few decent guys there...so it would not be too astounding that the swimsuit girls know they are competeing...just as they probably would in the FSU and doing so with a little practicality...afterall they do have a good idea of what guys are interested in.

... in response to Well,  maybe not?, posted by tim360z on Feb 22, 2002

Ya but you know some of these pictures are not of them walking out of the pool or at a picnic with their friends and they are in a bathing suit.  These are tits pushed together and lying on the beach sand with the waves coming in between their legs type stuff.  I would be embarrassed just getting my picture taken in such a pose.  That leads me to think who is taking this picture?  I got one of a girl in her underwear sort of hiding behind some curtains in her flat.  That is the one that I sent her a picture of me in my Speedo swimwear as a joke she wrote back and said it was a mistake she sent the picture.  Again I dropped her… I guess I see you point but come on I guess Europe is more free with their body than I think.  I want a good girl and some seem like this then all of a sudden you get the posed out picture and it really screws with your mind.

Hey Ry,
Yeah!  I was thinking it was just more of a swimsuit shot or something like that.  From what you describe they are in the titillation dept.  Something to stay away from.  A nice decent girl may send you a swimsuit shot of her like with her friends or family at the beach,  summertime.  Like an unsophiscated snapshot.  Sounds like you are getting the "set-up shots".  Somebody's trying to set you up for something you really don't want.  Good luck...Tim

Ryan,
A bathing suite pose isn't all that bad, but the photo you describe does sound bad.  Factor in that RW are more liberal and more feminine than the normal AW.  RW are proud of their bodies and are not afraid to "show it off" via tight clothing and such.  This takes some getting used too by us AM.  I recently told a friend that a "provocative photo" his Russian gal sent him was just her being "Russian".  LOL.  In general, just be cautious of any woman trying too hard too soon.

I think you answered your question. There is the photo at the beach in a swim suit and there is a provocative shot with its intentions. Provocative is relative leading to porno and everyone has a certain line that is crossed - well I guess some like "TheReview" I would guess do not, but generally speaking this is true. I personally would stay away from the ladies who send the more provocative shots. If there was one that I was really interested in, I would still meet her if she was in the area you are visiting just to see what she was really like.

I wouldn't call picture of people in bathing suits a red flag:  I would call it a "marketing technique".

People are going to react differently to this kind of picture.  Someone who sends this type of picture may very well be sincere, but not the type of person that the recipient of the picture would like to get to know better.

If it bothers you that much, then maybe you should move on. On the other hand, you could use the picture to start a discussion with the woman about how both of you feel about this sort of thing.

I find that most pictures like this come from women around 20 years old under 24.  I got so many and was tired of it I took a different approach with one girl.  I sent her a picture of me speedo bathing suit.  It was a picture taken of me 10 years back when I was her age so I sent that to her.  She just sent me a letter back telling me that I looked young for my age.  I told her that it was a joke because she sent me such types of pictures.  She told me she didn't mean to send that picture that it was a computer mistake.  I dropped her.

Steve Markos wrote about this extensively, that ladies that show skin are likely to get 10 times the response of those that don't.  It does increase their "lead to choice of men" ratio.

While I think it's great to look at, those kind of pics never fit my personal parameters for a woman that I'd be interested in, unless of course, I was already involved with her... (that's a different story altogether!).

Yes I agree, and have wrote to them that if we had met then her sending such pictures would be ok.
