Hello.  Does anyone know if a CIS woman must obtain a Russian Visa in order to travel to Russia.  Or do CIS people travel freely between Russia and their home country.  

Please help.

Depends on which CIS country is she from. For example, citizens of Georgia (not the US state of course) do need a visa to visit Russia. I think a couple more countries are in the same situation.

So, ask your girl. She will be in a better position to find out.
