Here is a copy of a mail I sent to Fox News and Cnn international

I have been living in Cali Colombia for a year and what I miss most from the US is Fox News.I am told it is not available here but I am not sure that is true.I recently stayed in Bogota and had it with the reception in my hotel room.
I have Direct TV here,a dish system. My only access to international or US news is CNN international or BBC.
I am so sick of CNN international. They spend its seems 20% of their time repeating the same self promotional pieces. After about 1000 times of the same pitch I want to throw a brick through the TV.
Plus I miss the debate format at Fox were different points of view are presented.I think one reason the US is hated and misunderstood in the world is very biased news reporting that does not present a balenced picture. They see one side only.
So please.if you are somehow available here let me know.If not please pursue getting in to this market.I miss you.And people here need  balenced news reporting.

Which different points of view are you speaking about Pete?  The right and the far right?

For me there are usually all sides represented.John Kerry passed on going on Bill O'Reilly, knew he would get grilled. He had his chance for free national exposure but wasn't up for the challenge.
I like the discussion groups with different points of view. For me Fox is centrist. The other networks left of center and unbalenced.AND,everybody gets a chance to speak out,but they will get questioned. No free lunch commercials.
Just my opinion.

Bill O'Reilly is a registered Republican but he lied about that.  He claims that he grew up in a lower middle class neighborhood but he grew up rich in the suburbs.

This is documented by Al Frankin in his book, "Lies and the Liars Who Tell Them".

I have watched the show twice and O'Reilly shouts down his guests and he doesn't allow them to present their point of view.  This is not journalism, it is political diatribe

Al Frankenstein is a liar himself.  So what if Bill is a registered Republican. Over ninety percent of the other media voted for John Kerry.  Do you think they are fair and balanced.

O'Reilly can be overbearing. But people do have a chance to respond if they have the GUTS to show up.
He grew up in a company town in New York.I will take his veracity over Al Franklin every time. And he has the GUTS to take on people like Jesse Jackson, who intimidated many companies in to payolla to avoid being cast as racist.
There was a huge chasm in the news.A huge middle ground not being heard,a lack of people to tackle sensitive issues.Bill O'Reilly destroyed that little fear of reporting cycle.
In my Opinion Balence was needed. We got more balence then before fox news.John Kerry attacked O'reilly as being responsible for his defeat, even though he didn't have the GUTS to show up.Lanny Davis,Bill Clinton advisor basically said he was out of line and that was bull shit.
Liberals still control 80% of the media. What you bitching about?

In case you don't realize a huge allegation of voter fraud that the mainstream media doesn't touch.  There were tons of voting amchines in the suburbs and too few in the inenr city causing incredible waits.  The "liberal biased" media has not touched this.

The "liberal biased" media doesn't show coffins returning from Iraq, they don't attack the administration for going into an unwinable war with no plan to secure the peace and for no adequately protecting our soldiers.

The "liberal biased" media doesn't detailt he peril that our astronomical deficits protend for the future of our country.

You don't need to agree with a word I have written.  THESE ARE LIBERAL ISSUES AND THE MEDIA IGNORES THEM.   Illsiten to Air America occasionally and they do have a liberal bias.  I personally find it boring to listen to biased people all the time even if I agree with them.

Didn't Bill O'Reilly get sued for sexual hassassment recently, lie about it and then admit his guilt?  I guess Al Frankin made that up too.

Where I live in North Carolina there were more voting machines in minority districts and less in the suburbs where I live.  Even though the population in the suburbs is twice than the minority districts.  We all stood in line for a very long time and got our vote in.  Cut you liberal crap, Kented!  You and all your willing accomplices in the liberal media are such sour grapes that you can't accept the fact that Kerry got beat.  Keep going down this road Kented and it will be along time before you guys ever win another election.  People like a positive message not constant complaining about what President Bush was doing.  Do I like everything that President Bush does? No, but at least I know he has balls and will stand up to the terrorist and not put his head between his legs like Kerry would have done.  Clinton, didn't do jack for eight years while all these terrorists acts were being committed against us.  All that did was embolden the terrorists to keep doing what they were doing.  Then comes Bush who isn't going to put up with that crap anymore and you liberals have a freaking cow.  Flowers in gun barrels don't work Kented.  The only way you take these guys on is by killing them or capturing them  That is all they understand.  Thank God Bush won another four year term.  I shutter to think what would have happened if Kerry would have won.

I'm glad too.  Bush can not be accountable for the unnecessary war in Iraq or the astonomical deficit.  I will be as happy as a cow if Iraq turns out to be a good decision or if Bush can solve his deficit.  At least Tthe republicans won't be able to blame anyone for his policies.

-You believe John Ashcroft poses a greater danger to America than Osama bin Laden

-You think President Bush lied to the nation but his predecessor did not.

-You believe President Bush is too dumb to be President and Arnold Schwarzenegger is too dumb to be Governor of California, but the Dixie Chicks, Martin Sheen, Alec Baldwin, Barbra Streisand, Eddie Vedder and Jeanine Garofalo are qualified to discourse at length on foreign policy.

-You believe all conservatives are racist, but do not think minorities can ever succeed without Affirmative Action.

-You can't decide which is worse: the Patriot Act or the Patriot Missile.

-You believe Saddam Hussein, Kim Jong Il, and Yasser Arafat were fairly and democratically elected, but President Bush was not.

-You root for prisoners when they escape from our oppressive prisons, but oppose allowing poor children to escape from failing public schools.

-You support every kind of "diversity" on campus, except political orientation.

-You support banning the smoking of tobacco and legalizing marijuana.

-You are enraged by the so-called mistreatment of Muslim prisoners (who have gained weight while dining on their specially prepared Koran-approved meals) at Guantanamo Bay, but believe the world should have stood idly by while Saddam Hussein filled mass graves.

-You have found where the right to an abortion is written in the Constitution but cannot find where the Constitution provides for a right to keep and bear arms.

-You support campus speech codes that ban pick-up lines and amorous gazes, but never spoke out against President Clinton's physical sexual harassment in the White House.

-You applauded Jimmy Carter for talking about human rights in foreign policy but opposed George W. Bush for doing something about human rights.

-You believe that trial lawyers taking 33 to 40 percent of a plaintiff's recovery in lawsuits is just about right, but the federal government taking this amount of our income in taxes is not nearly enough.

-You believe the former Governor of a New England state with 608,827 people is more than adequately experienced to be President in 2004, but the Governor of a Southwestern state with 21,325,018 people was completely unprepared in 2000.

-You agree with Toni Morrison that President Clinton was "the first black President," but didn't criticize Al Sharpton for recently labeling President Bush a "gang leader."

-You believe we could get more truth out of the Pentagon if only Don Rumsfeld were replaced by Mohammed Al-Sahhaf.

-You believe evangelical Christians are destroying America but don't feel threatened by the radical Wahabbi sect of Islam.

-When it comes to violent crime, you believe in hating the crime but loving the criminal.

-You support unlimited appeals for convicted criminals, but believe it is undemocratic for Californians to reverse their earlier mistake of electing Gray Davis.

-You believe U.S. exports of genetically modified foods pose a greater threat to African nations than corrupt dictators like Zimbabwe's Mugabe.

-You believe welfare is a fundamental human right and workfare is a human rights violation.

-You believe religion is a scourge on our society, but becoming one with Mother Nature by merging with the universal consciousness and harmonizing with lunar reverberations will save us.

-You believe President Bush is an environmental criminal for poisoning the water with arsenic, but have never complained about Saddam Hussein's devastating Iraq and Kuwait's environment by setting intentional oil well fires and committing genocide against the Marsh Arabs by draining their wetlands.

-Your car sports the bumper sticker saying that "it will be a great day when our schools have all the money they need and the military has to hold bake sales," but oppose allowing the U.S. military to volunteer recruitment tables on college campuses because of their "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy.

ROFL!

The liberals will never figure out that the majority of the voters just weren't stupid enough to fall for the liberal lies. But it's still their right to believe liars like Al Frankin and Micheal Moore if they wish to… LOL

You guys are restoring my faith in basic good judgement. Not everybody buys the liberal line automatically.
A few years ago Newt Gingrich was considered this outrageous conservative, just branded by the liberals and liberal media.I never heard him say a thing I disagreed with,he seemed very reasonable to me.
But he did pull some sort of schenanigan with his staff doing other work or something that basically doomed him.He defended himself to the end but I guess legally he got nailed.

Gingrich went kookoo and overplayed a card with some failed legislation in the War on Drugs. (I'm thinking it was 1987ish?)  It was a fatal political misstep for him, and marked him as darn near an 'extremist' in the minds of many people (including a few colleagues). Seriously militarizing and invoking death penalties for small drug crimes was nothing short of stupid.  He was calling for a kind of martial law.

While some of his "Contract With America" was pretty inspiring, he misplayed politics again in '94 by overreaching again, and never really recovered politically.
