K1 Visa - Dominican Republic

I am about to submit my K1 application for my lovely fiance in the Dominican Republic.  I am lucky because I apply through Vermont!  Does anyone have any idea what we can expect for processing time?  I hear Vermont is pretty good, but the wait on the D.R. side of things may be pretty long.  Are we looking at 6 months or more?  Thanks for your reply!

Vermont has recently been completing K-1 petitions in about 1-2 weeks or less. I saw on another forum where one guy had his I-129F received on 6/17 and approved on 6/24. Another guy just recently had his approved in 3 days. Another guy said he dropped his off in person at VSC just the other day and while he was at the front desk, a lady on her way in to work took it from him and said she would go in and process it right now :-)

I think your timeline is fairly accurate. Vermont moves pretty fast (lucky you!) and you should clear that service center in about 2 months. Give them at least 3-4 months on the DR side to get the ball rolling. If you have a clean application you should come pretty close to your 6 month timeframe.

Thanks, I saw this site a while back where people posted their processing times.  Might anyone know what the name of this site is?
