I met Malandro yesterday.For those of you who wern't around about 3 years ago we used to have huge flame wars here largely involving a guy named Howndog.Howndog was sincere and knowlegable,but it was really easy for him to go reactive and negative and nasty.Malandro was one of the guys who liked to yank his chain,which was real easy to do.
Houndog was allowed to stay around for along time,I think primarily because between his rants he did have good things to say.Milandro,who was more funny than caustic got banned fast.I think what really did it was when he would right funny ficticious stories about real people.That was stepping over the line.But I always enjoyed his wit and sense of humer.He says he occasionally follows whats happening on the board.
Malandro is a tall good looking guy about 37 who speaks excellent spanish.He has lived in several latin countries including Spain.He seems to have lots of fun with the latinas.He can banter with them in spanish like a native and is probably lots more interesting to them than the native would be.He is a fun guy.He said he was just starting to thing about maybe getting serious about getting married.
We were at Casa Cervesa in the Grenada area,a great place.A girl he met joined us.She was very pretty,sweet and nice.20 years old,used to date a gringo 37 when she was 17.She said she had been at an agency 5 months and only 3 citas.
Malandro said her pictures were good.I said are those guys blind?
I am guessing even if her pictures were good they were nothing like the real person.So unspolied it was amazing.We were telling her about the types of attitudes that girls like her developed in the states.She was just so genuine and real.The ultimate example of why guys come to Colombia.
Malandro is off to Popiyan and Medellin.I don't think he will be following up.I told her she deserves a really good guy.She's way too young for me,so any of you guys who consider yourselves worthy might want to send me a mail.
Greg,I was thinking of you but she is a little tall,maybe 5'6" or 5'7",but who knows?She would be worth looking up next time you come.
