Ecuador: Volcano go Boom!

Can't give you any details, but one of the Volcanoes West of Quito blew. That is what one of the locals told me. He said it is far away, but there is a lot of ash falling on Quito, so if it was far and we are getting this much ash, I don't know, sounds like it had some uummph to it. There isn't any wind, so it must have just gone boom straight up and the stuff is just falling back to Earth. There is enough falling to get in your eyes and irritate your breathing. Geez! Hope Cotopaxi doesn't blow. That sucker is just a hop skip and a jump away.
