Hate to bust up the negative marriage post, but here goes...

- Nobody cleans like a Latina, when she wants to clean...lol! Remember, you're NOT A BACHELOR ANYMORE!

- Stivalis has been real good regarding calling home. A BIG NYC THANKS to the poster who posted about "Yesmidwest.com" online calling cards.

- The bonding between her & my daughters has been greater than expected. This issue & her adjustment to REAL weather were my biggest concerns. I'm happy to say, it never became an issue.

- If you live in an area where there are 4 seasons. Get your lady some t-necks, gloves, knit hats, a goose-down & some timbies...let her choose the colors!

- You'll have to pinch each other from time to time, to REALLY BELIEVE that you're together.

- Give her room to breathe, pressure doesn't help the adjustment!

- Let your wife see you at work, play (when/if possible). This will help her get a sense of what your REAL world day is like.

- Keep learning to speak spanish if you're not fluent. You're wife will REALLY appreciate you efforts.

- Don't try to correct each other every daayuum time you try to speak in each other's language...lol (tip from the man w/the small boat....lol)

- Be prepared to surrender most of the closet space.

- Allow you lady to be the Minister of Interior Decoration. You can be the Minister of Electronics.

- Don't feel that you have to occupy every moment with your wife....CHILL!!!

- Remember, that someone else is in the bed with you...SHARE THE GAT DAYYUUM COVERS...LMAO!!!!

Howard,
Good post.About the closet space,my wife started out needing little of it because she had less clothes and shoes than any woman I ever knew,but she is working on that.I think she now has about 45% of a 12 ft. closet.I think I am heading for 25%.I joke about her Imelda Marcos shoe collection.I think she is up to 20 pairs or so from about 4 when I met her.I asked her what she would spend her money on if she was rich.Clothes and shoes was the answer.

it's amazing all the clothes she has pulled out of just three suitcases...lol! Anyway Bro, we'll be getting in contact with you in the near future. Married life is taking up more time than I imagined...this is not a complaint..lol! I'm gonna chill for awhile. Don't have the time to waste battling with those who are only here to stir up $h*t. I've hooked up with several married guys, who were once part of the PL board. They've been telling me...It's time to move on, & let others find their way.....

Howard,
I'm sure they can get by fine without us but I still find it interesting.I guess there is some value in the experience after the marrige also.Don't go away,we will miss you.Keep us posted on Stivalis's impressions on life in New York.A couple of feet of snow in the streets ought to be a new experience.
