agree with you. However wait till some day (I hope) US lifts embargo on Cuba.....;-)
Guess THEN US guys will swarming down there by the thousands to get a hotie chica from el Isla de las mujeres calientes;-)

Pete,

I say not more then 4-5 years...all depending on that old mans health.
His brother is also sick (and a drunk).
But when that happens and communism is gone or "capitalized" (as in China..) I think Colombia is HISTORY regarding to forreign brides!!! Especialy when violence steps up and more and more people get killed,wounded,kidnapped or whatever abused by those freaks outthere.
But ONLY when Castro's gone...and only then. The thing is....Would you want to wait for it???
I say, "NO".

I wouldn't wait or go to Cuba right now,but when Fidel and accociates kick the bucket there will be lots of tourists and guys that had't even thought about latin women bumping in to them.
But I'm not so sure it will be better than Colombia is now.Probably safer by far though.I think 50 years of communism and doing without might make them somewhat like the Russians.Naw probably not that bad.But the values of a good Colombiana may be hard to come by.But beaches,weather,20 miniutes from Miami and 2 hours from New York.What a booming place it will be again once the failed experiment in govermnment running your life falls apart.
Hmm,talk about real estate.But you can't buy it yet.

I can copy your thoughts upon Russians...with all respect most of those are just like cold Robots...:-( No expressions,no humor and certainly NO family values whatever!!!(highest aborte rate and divorce rates in the world;-)Also with RW there are a lot of goldiggers.....it's seems to be a real sport out there:-(
Indeed communism has ruined three (four?) generations...
Had an UW as a GF once....never again!!!!!:-(
