I don't think failing to pull through with the fed-ex mailing is grounds for dismissel. (I forget, do we know for a fact it wasn't sent?) It may be hard for us to understand in this land of monopoly game money where $100 for a night in a hotel or a $60 tab at a restaurant aren't considered excessive but life isn't remotely like that in Colombia. To me the idea of paying $35 or whatever it is to Fed-ex a stinking little letter to Colombia is outragious. Imagine what it's like in a land where the minimum wage is $150 a month! You know they say that if you ask a Mexican for directions he'll tell you something even if he has no idea. He just thinks it would be rude not to. Good intentions.
