wonder why so many military or ex-military guys are on here at PL, maybe it has to do with the adventurous type - who dares,wins.

Too much Vietnam in him.

Times have changed since then and its like the 16K body bags never happened during the iraq war...

Hackfact needs to be looking at the truth of it all, not his own opinion's sake.  Let's check the books on this one.

Hackworth is a bit "over the top" for me and enjoys too much credibility. The TV networks employ Hackworth because
he is always provocative and strongly opinionated. I also agree with your comment "too much Vietnam left in him."
