The arrival,
At first, undertaking this with an open mind, I saw many things working against me.
1) This was the first county I had ever been to where no one spoke English.
2) My room was no more than a pigeon coop on a roof top ( if you have been to Latin Love you know the room).
3) No sleep
So keeping one thought, If there are plenty of good looking women at the party tonight , all is forgiven .
To my delight, all that was told to me was true. About 7 men, 26 women. Ranging on the international candle scale
1 candle = you only want to see it's a women.
10 candles = you want to see everything.
These were 7,8, and 9's. And I never had the feeling these girls were pussie--packing visa hunters. Or looking for the richest guy in the room.
Even with out knowing 1 word of Spanish at that time, the girls did the best to make me feel relaxed, and tried to communicate with me.
Feeling a bit like Captain Kirk with no translator one of the translators (Andrese) , he broke the ice, and I was of and running. My first night and all was well, However it wasn't until the next night that my cousin and I went out on the town and felt the full impact of Cali.
