Well folks, I posted the first 5 parts of this process on the latin board because thats how I started searching for a wife. I have made many mistakes, but thru it all, I have learned much about 2 different cultures, and much about myself and relationships.
After my divorce from Victoria, I bought a computer and started chatting with filipina's on ICQ. I talked with about 10 different ladies. I looked towards the Philippines because the girls are beautiful, they spoke english, and I heard good things about there marriages to American men. I noticed some of the girls would tell you, " I love you", after the first or second chat. I stayed away from them and chatted away with those that were friendly and family oriented. In April of 2000, I met a girl on Icq who was smart and funny. She has talked to some on this board and Mag-anak. Vivian. She sent me her photo. WOW! She was drop-dead gorgeous! We chatted away until the first of June and I told her I was coming to the Philippines with a friend. I booked a flight to cebu. The trip was to last from the 30th of June to the 17th of July. A week before I was to leave for the PI, Vivian admitted to me that she sent a photo of a different person, not herself. Then she sent another photo that was suppose to be her. She told me she sent the wrong photo because she didn't think she was pretty. I decided to see her on the way thru Manila to Cebu. She met us at the airport and took us to hotel close by the airport. And off we went to cebu the next day. Vivian was planning to meet us later during the trip and spend a week in Cebu with me. Because of Vivian's lie about the photo, I also was going to see another penpal from Talisay.
