Well, My friend and I left for Cebu the next morning. Our 2 penpals picked us up at the Mactan Airport. They were both very pretty and young. My penpal from Talisay and I had about 4 dates. I realized after a few dates that she was scared and probably only posted on " one and only site", because of pushing by an auntie. My friend also had bad luck with penpals and we were discouraged. BUT, luck would have it that a lady in the hotel where we were staying was showing interest in him. She also had a sister, Juliet. Juliet and I were together the rest of the trip and I sent Vivian an email telling her not to come to Cebu. I knew Vivian had lied to me on several occasions. ( The second photo she sent me was also a fake! ) I could tell this when I met her at the Manila airport.
....My friend and I had a great time in Cebu with the 2 sisters we met. He and Juliet's sister even got engaged! When it ws time to leave, Juliet and I said our goodbyes, but made no commitments. We flew back to manila for an overnight's stay, before returning to the states. I was feeling down, and made a giant mistake. I called Vivian and she agreed to come over to our hotel. We talked for a long time and decided to chat again when I got home. After about a month I made a commitment to Vivian and emailed Juliet of my decision. This was a big mistake on my part. Looking back on all this, I realized that Vivian never did really love me and I made the choice to take on her pain of low self-esteem. During this bumpy ride, I also decided it was my bad habit to take others pain and make it my own. I also quit smoking. Next post will tell of the scams and lies........
