Sometimes when I read these posts I wonder if you visited the same city?  I’ve been going to Cali since 1998. Each time I go it becomes harder to leave. Friday nights at Chipichapi with a dinner at Lenos& Carbonas then a movie. Then maybe dancing. What a great night out! Am I missing something here?

I know a women who owns a store in one of the malls she’s also a translator has her own car. She beyond a doubt is a women who could steal a man’s heart. She’s not interested though in me anyway.

My point what do you guys do when your there? Lock the door in your $25 dollar a night hotel room sulking about the date that no showed you? (By the way for all of you out there who don’t know here’s the skinny. Many times when you are no showed it’s because the secretary in the agency is describing you to your potential date and the date is not interested. I’ve seen it when my friend had an agency. Why? It’s the Colombian way of avoidance, they really don’t want to hurt you feelings. )

The secretary is actually doing you a favor, in many circumstances by not wasting your time and/or money. One might consider sending a photo & short bio, to the agency of your choice before you get there...

Craig,

I made it very clear that I like Cali....if I was never to marry and stay single for a lifetime...Cali would be my number one place to live!!!

In that situation...I would have tons of beautiful and young women...and when I got tired of their immaturity or they became insincere...its easy to move on!!

But for a wife material to bring to the states....Cali has become more difficult to find someone of quality.

Cali IS gringo saturated compared to other cities,but then it has alot more available women also.The girls in the agencies probably outnumber gringos in town by at least 100 to one at any given time.Its probably still the number one destination for gringos meeting latinas in the world.
Alot of people knock Cali or SPECULTATE  about other places,trying to convince themselves,but as far as numbers of citas,gringos to latina don't think anyplace else is even at 50%.Or 25%.
Now you might think there are more unspoiled places and that would be true.
AND,to compare it with ANY city in the US,My take is that guy has not yet spent enough time pursuing women in US cities.Be it Akron Ohio or Miami.

Pete, it's not a question of pursuing women. It's a question of suitable wife material. Yes, a guy's going to have a much better time in Cali than he would in Akron but IMHO, he's not going to do any better in getting a good wife. I just don't think as a rule the Calenas make good wives. Others can and will disagree and that's fine. We all have our opinions and that's mine.

BUT,can you find one who will have you you would even want in Akron?Thatrs the difference.
And there are lots of Cali girls that are good wife material.There are lots that are not.but lotsthat are.The bad reputation doesn't apply to all,noy even half in my opinion.

I'll never understand nor will I try to understand guys who say "Women from this city are better than women from that city." It's all a bunch of bullshit! Actually I heartily agree with you. There are great women living in ALL cities and it is possible to find a wife anywhere. And I am not dissing men who have found the woman of their dreams in Akron or Cali - not for a second. It's just not the place that I would go if that was my goal. I know it's sacrilege to say that on this board where it seems as though no one can think about any possibility beyond the Cali city limits.

Again, I agree with you - there are great women everywhere. I don't really like generalizations because invariably there are many exceptions to the rule. I am certain that there are many exceptions when it comes to the Calenas. I still say that if I was embarking on a search and choosing a particular city to go, Cali would not be on my list.
