Our 130 was approved two months ago which puts it in the National Visa Center (NVC) for them to sit on.
After 2 months they mailed me the DS-3032 and the I-864 bill for $65. I faexed the 3032's to CR for my wife to sign (appointing me her representative and allowing me to receive her correspondance here) and she Fed Ex ed them to Portsmith NH. Package left CR yesterday AM and is already in NH ready to be delivered. I got the cashiers check and overnighted (US mail only to PO boxes) it to St. Louis.
The next steps are they send me the I-864 (Affadavit of Support) and also the bill for the visas. I have no idea how long they will wait to do this.
Ray, Thank you very very much for your detailed explanation of what would happen. In the first five points on the list, the only thing is that they sent me the DS-3032 not to her which was very lucky. More reliable to fax it to her than to rely on CR mail.
