A few months ago my wife and I had an interview with the USCIS about my wife's adjustment of status.  The agent was particularly suspicious of me because I have not only been married before, but I have been married before to another Colombiana for whom I also petitioned residency.

The young lady conducting the interview looked at my marital track record and she asked me "So do you think it's OK to get married and then if it doesn't work out just go find someone new?"

I said "Jennifer Lopez says it's OK".

Did you really say that or was it one of those wish I had thought to say that?
As a kid I was in to hunting. Not much to do in Idaho. They had a guy called a game warden to make sure you didn't bag over your limit.
I guess untill they set a limit we can keep bagging.
Reminds me of a cartoon I saw, this guy used to do "Herman"
cartoons. In one scene Herman is in the Jewelry store with a chica. The guy behind the counter is saying "no more engagement rings for you untill you pay for the other two."
But joking aside,I hope it works and it seems OK,no complaints recently.
BUT - - We do know what to do if it doesn't work.
HMM,pregunta. If you lived here would you have jumped in so fast the second time?If your wife reads here you are excussed in not answering that.

Yes, I really said that.  Sometimes I say things when I should keep my mouth closed.  Anyway, I don't think that will affect the outcome.

I don't know how things would've gone if I had lived in Cali.  I still believe that Milena was the best match I could've found.  I've never had a woman continue to be passionate with me for 2 years.  In the past it always diminished to routine sex after a few months.

So I'm very pleased with the progress so far.  She makes me laugh a lot and to me that's almost as important as the sex.

Haha.  I think the only thing better than that might have been  asking her: "Why, should I put you on the list?"

The agent, a young lady of about 25, was being very serious in her questioning.  When I made that remark she didn't show much reaction.  She just made some comment that Jennifer Lopez is an unusual case.

I don't know that I believe that.  I remember watching La Cenicienta on Spanish TV (a Spanish Bachelorette-type show).   The girl who chose among the men was about 25 and already twice divorced.  I wonder how many divorces she will have when she's 45.
