Despite changing the subject off of us and onto neutral topics, she still hung out with me for the rest of the afternoon.  I should have asked her how she felt about me but didn't.  After we made arrangements to meet in the evening and go to Old Recife, I felt that perhaps things were not so bad.

We met near her house and made our way to Old Recife.  As we walked around looking for a restaurant with live music, she made it easy for me to take her hand in mine.  During the evening she made other non-verbal indications that I ranked high on her "ideal profile" and that she was firmly on board for pursuing our relationship more seriously.

On Saturday she made it official by asking me if I minded that when talking to her friends she referred to me as her namorado, and confirmed that I would be referring to her as my namorada.

So far, all I can say that all's well that ends well.  We'll see how things progress.

It sounds like she is more comfortable expressing herself emotively and non-verbally, whereas you come across as the inverse.  Relationships that begin that way can be kindof amusing and sweet, as both parties tend to 'fumble around in the dark and bump into eachother' trying to get comfortable with one another.

Nice posts.

How did Latineuro work out so far?  About the same, as a mixed bag?

Ciao

Locii,

Yes, she is very intuitive and seems to prefer to express her feelings non-verbally as opposed to saying things to me.  I am not quite the inverse; I express myself in whichever manner gets the message across most clearly and effectively.

Yes.  The LE women again were hit or miss.
