PI Airlines

Does anyone know anything about Philippine airlines?  I did a curiosity search on Travelocity, and their roundtrip rate is about 700 dollars, which, compared to all the others, is really low.  Is it a good airline?

After being couped up for hours on end and breathing
poorly circulated airplane air, they give you a hot towel
to wash your face at the very end of the flight....much

For a few hundred more you can fly business class or first class and its a heck of a lot more comforatble.  I fopund the service to be excellent.

with their service. However, I have always found their rates $100 to $200 higher than some. $700 round trip is a good price though. For the extra convenience (not changing airports, etc) I would look no further. Larry.

I just traveled PAL (Philippine Air Lines) from California to Manila, then to Cebu, and then returned to the US.  I was satisfied with their Service and plan to use them again.  I had actually been told lots of "bad" things about them, but found it not to be true on my trip.

They are a major Philippine carrier.  I used them on my
trip this past July/August and was happy with them.  
I went to Cebu and it was nice not having to change
airports in Manila to continue my trip.
