Who wants to start a HOOTERS in Colombia?

What do you guys think of that idea?? Just picture if you will please...... a curvy, long dark hair, tan skinned honey with a Hooters shirt and shorts on serving you a beer while sitting back with ESPN playing as you plot and plan your next visit. Come on....who wouldnt like it

Golden it sounds like a good idea but if you have a hot-blooded Latina wife she might not like you running the day to day operations if you get my drift.

Maybe you can confirm this:

I was reading about Starbucks opening up in Chile and the article said one of their competitors is a series of coffee shops where lingerie-clad waitresses greet each customer with a kiss on the cheek. It didn't sound like these were "seedy joints" - just a uniquely Chilean thing that developed in or around downtown Santiago.

Pete, maybe the above is a better investment for you than Hooter's, Cafe Oma, or Crepes y Waffles. Now that I think about it, maybe the soon-to-be opened Cafes Juan Valdez in gringolandia should have lingerie-clad waitresses. Three of Colombia's finest exports in one place: coffee, beautiful women and underwear!  ;-)

This place is hooters central,you don't have to go to a bar.It wouldn't be unique like in the US.

I was thinking the same thing.  Especially in Cali.  Cali is one big Hooters to me (except the girls like to wear tight jeans instead of shorts).  

When I was in Bogota 4 years ago their style was nice dresses and heels with designer hosiery.  Not a bad look, either, but I like the "Indian" blood more prevalent in the Calenas.

Hooters is a big deal here in the US because the native women don't try to dress very sexy on the street.  Some of the Latinas, yes, but the women who have been here all their lives, not very much.

I think that the problem would be, that in america, ususally the cream of the crop(in terms of looks) works in a place like that. However, in Cali, you find hooters quality girls in damn near everystore, or just walking out in the street, so you wouldn't need a place like that.
