I'll be taking my wife to the embassy in Bogota on the 23rd of Dec.

Any tips you can give me on the process would be greatly appreciated.

Since I will be submitting the I-130 in person at the first interview is it necesary that I have the G-325's and the 3/4 view photos as the instructions say?

Also I was thinking about staying at the Dan Norte Hotel en Bogota. Has anybody had any experiance with this Hotel?

Hey Calipro,
I went to the embassy yesterday and am going back today with my wife.  I will let you know exactly what is needed as I got my information from a young lady behind window 4.  I can tell you this there is no real order, they hand out these red numbered cards but no one goes in order.  It is first come first served.  I think we are flying to Cali on the 20 which is the day you arrive in Bogota.  Today is my wife and I´s four month anniversary and I think your as well.  I well let you know how things went.

CaliPro,
I hope you post your experience on here.  I have read everything I can find on this subject, but it would be great to hear about your adventure.  I don't know if you need to take the G325's etc with you for the initial interview, but I plan to take everything with me just in case.  I don't know the hotel you mentioned but I did find a hotel, mentioned on the web, that is located across the street from the embassy.  The poster recommended it but I have no idea personally.  I will be following you in Feb.

Hotel Casa La Embajada
Calle 22E N 44A-97 (Quinta Paredes)
Tels.572-0260,269-4838,368-3232 Bogota D.C. Colombia
