Just to give some of you guys a piece of info I heard this morning.
A couple traveling from the States hopped over to Aruba for a few days then onto Quito. Their connecting flight was through Caracas. Guess what, their luggage hasn't shown up for 5 days and counting. It's somewhere between Quito and Caracas. They said there was tons of luggage piled up at the airport. I am guessing most operations are working, for the time being, at the Caracas Airport, but the luggage handlers probably walked off the job because they weren't getting paid or they support the anti-Chavez group.
Anyways, if you are making your way down here and they want to route you through Caracas, don't take it.

Are you hanging out in Ecuador because your Colombia Visa expired?

Yeah, should know something today. Course, I have been wanting to check out Brazil. Think I'll skip Venezuela until it calms down there.
