I still don't buy the argument that getting some free meals makes a person an out and out scammer. The person might be very picky or yes might just be looking to have a little fun on Senor Gringo's wallet. It happens sometimes that a gal will accept an invitation for a dinner from a guy she's not particularly interested in but I suspect that gringos do similar things. I'm not advocating this type of behavior but on the other hand I don't think it's that big of a deal in the whole scheme of things. When I used to ask women out in Cali for dinner, it was at my request and to be honest I didn't have any expectations other than her accompaning me.
I'm not sure it's the agency's responsibility to weed out every women who has had 20 dinner appointments and not hooked up with a guy. I think the responsibility to weed out people ultimately resides with the gringo himself. One guys ringer might be another guys future spouse.....
