Pete,

There are droves of men that will follow in that man's footsteps. Una bruja has cast a spell on him, and he doesn't know which way is up. These spells are quite common. Don't worry though...the spells tend to be only temporary, and they are often broken suddenly by traumatic events...like the woman ditching him after she gets here.

On my very first trip to BAQ, I met that lived in San Jose. He was engaged to this woman from BAQ; she had a body to die for, but was a walking "red flag". On one of my subsequent trips, I saw her with her Colombian boyfriend. I warned him, she denied everything, he got mad at me, then married her anyway. -She got here and is showing her true colors...HE, now, is hating life.

Tai, you're right on the money.

What's another sorry thing is that some guys may in fact realize what's going on, but think they will be able to change the girl's mind and heart once she arrives in the USA.

Another group of guys just don't care. They're going down for...."THE DEAL" !!!!

Pay a little bit of money for the K-1, plane ticket, food and groceries in return for a few months to a year or two of sex. I can't believe it.

No creo mis ojos. YIKES !!!!!!!!!! LOL !!!!!!!!

... in response to Pete, that's not Curtis Mayfield......, posted by Aaron on Sep 29, 2002

Aaron,
Curtiss Mayfield just popped up in my mind, but you are right,it was Percy Sledge,I remembered as soon as you said it.Good old classic music with a message. You probably did hear your dad playing them.Would have been hard to miss.
A friend of mine loved that song,"give up all his pleasures and sleep out in the rain,if she said thats the way it had to be."
Another line along this finding out a little late theme"I heard it through the grapevine, not too longer would you be mine."Kind of pop versions of old blues themes.
