.......my wife started her first job a couple of weeks ago. She is working as a receptionist/translator in a chiropractic office, loves it so far, very nice and patient people there she says. Says they have quite a few Latin patients so she was happy to be able to contribute immediately. Had a few problems understanding people by phone but she is not discouraged and says that part is becoming easier, as her English was fluent before we ever met. Her office is only about a 20 minute drive from home. Some Latin patients have said "thank goodness they finally hired someone here who speaks Spanish", made her feel good and the Dr. says it makes it alot easier for him also. She had a strong resume in terms of education/office experience in Peru, apparently that was enough.
