First to clarify a few things. About the women at the airport, that was my view there. A few days later at the Suburbia mall in Satelite, the mexican pop star Lucero was there for autograph signing. Here in the middle class suburbs, were hundreds of good looking, 20 year old girls in tight hip hugger jeans, trying to get close the the star, total opposite from the airport, my faith in mexican women restored. About MC being late, I realize I'm im Mexico, on mexico time. It was soon forgotton. On to MC. To set some things straight, no I'm not Ricky Martin, or "GQ" material. I'm 48, I work out, no spare tire in sight. When people ask how old I am, I ask them to guess, the reply is usually early 40's, an average guy. MC is a few years younger than me, also looks in her early 40's. She was a very attractive young woman, we've gone thru both our photo albums, and has matured in to an attractive middle aged woman, 5'0, very nice figure. No, not Sofia Vergara. She is a sweet woman, good job with a multi-national automotive company, owns her own home, car, has done well for herself as a single mom raising 2 children. She is fluent in english, likes american music from Eric Clapton, Beatles, light rock, back to old 60's stuff. So we have a lot in common from music, to past marriage experiences, and raising kids. We are looking for the same future, to enjoy life with someone you love, to travel, and to retire where it is warm year round. MC was raised in the upper classs in Mexico, her dad played professional soccer with the Costa Azul soccer team in Mexico City, I guess that is where she gets her figure. One grandfather was German, it shows in her features. She loves the older areas of town, she grew up in Coyoacan, we spent a day there, the San Juan Bautista Church is beautiful. Also a day in San Angel, with hundreds of year old cobble stone streets. We spent Sunday in San Angel, on weekends it is an artisian park type place with local artists selling paintings, pottery and other handmade items. Beautiful old haciendas, warm sunny weather. Easy to get lost, walking around holding hands, and eating at the street cafes. As MC would say to me often, this is the real Mexico. A nice place to fall in love. A1A
