I once crashed a TLC party at the Intercontinental Hotel in Cali. Well not really crashed, I did pay Bruce $200 to go one of the socials. I thought it was a pretty good deal considering there where only two socials and the TLC tour charge was about $800 US.
Anyway, I took Luz Amparo along with me to the social and I told the guys at TLC that she was my personal interpreter. They bought it! Luz was a little nervous (probably a little scared but to curious to pass up the opportunity) at the social because alot of the women at the social knew who she was. I told her to calm down. Even if one of the girls at the social tried to tell TLC she was in the marriage agency business, they probably wouldn't understand. They really don't speak that much spanish.
Luz didn't stay that long and either did I. In less than thirty minutes, I had scanned the crowd of about 400 women and had it down to the two best looking women. I got a phone number from one and I asked the other one if she wanted to go to a diso. She said yes and we left. I guess she didn't really want to stick around to watch 30 guys dance with about 400 women.
