after the INS office in laguna niguel sends you the approval notice. how long does it take the embassy in bogota, to send the package with the appiontment date to the fiancee? i got the approval letter dated 02/11/02, but she has not heard anything from the embassy yet.

mudd - I recall that it only took about 7-10 days for my then fiancée to receive her packet from Bogotá so this seems overdue...

I wish I could tell how to proceed but I do not know if your fiancée can reach anyone in the embassy to check the status.

Good luck and hopefully it will show up soon..
