In Colombia is there any identification for women as being married? I noticed that many girls in the agencies have rings on finger(s) intended for wedding ring. So which finger does woman put a ring on if she is married?

Married Colombian women wear their wedding band on their right hand ring finger not their left. It is opposite of here in the states. The left hand is divorced and the right hand is married.

Yes it is the same finger.

No it is not common for a woman to wear a wedding ring if they are not married. However it is not uncommon for women there to wear other types of rings on either or both hands.

It would be uncommon for a married woman to not wear her wedding ring unless the circumstances warranted. For example it would not be uncommon for a married woman to not wear her wedding ring if she were going somewhere that it could be stolen. So I guess this is a yes/no answer. If her normal life would put her in areas that someone would possible steal and expensive ring she would not wear it. However if it were not expensive I would think she would wear it.

These are just opinions based on talking with my wife about this subject.
