First of all, I would like to wish everybody on this list a merry Christmas and a happy New Year.
Anyway, I just got back from spending two weeks in Colombia ( 10 days in Cali and 5 days in Bogota).  What a great country to visit.  Cali in gorgeous and the women.....WOW!!!!  I had a beautiful wedding and now have a beautiful Calena for a wife.  She will be arriving in the USA on January 12th.  I will tell you guys about the trip later this week when I get a little more time.  If you guys want any specifics about my experience getting the visa for my wife in Bogota or want any other general information, feel free to e-mail me directly or just post.  I am far from an expert, but I have experienced this first hand now.
Have a very safe New Years Eve!!!!

Hi,

I'm VERY interested in knowing about your experience in the visa process since my wife has her interview in 10 days.

1. What was the date of her interview? How early did you arrive on the interview date? What time did she get called for the interview?

2. How long did the interview last?

3. What questions did they ask her?

4. Did they ask you (or her) for any documents other than those they identified on their list?

5. What thoughts, feelings, impressions, or words of advice do you have for those of us about to go through the interview process?

I'm going to fly down for the interview even though the embassy clerk told me that I was basically irrelevant in this process. I know my documents better than she does and I intend to fly back with her a few days after she gets her visa.

Thanks very much,
Sol
