In a trip to Lima a few years ago, I had a chance to spend a few days there. You'll find that Lima is a typical Sa city with good and bad area throughout. The women were mostly short with round, Indian looking faces. They didn't really appeal very much to me.... On the positive side, most had a pleasant and outgoing way about them. Overall - I think you'll do better to look in Colombia or even Mexico before spending time and money in Peru.

I was able to meet a couple girls that I had been writing. On a sightseing trip downtown, we were robbed by some street thug who actually tore a necklace right off her neck. Needless to say, Peru doesn't bring fond memories to me.

I went to Lima about a year ago. I took  a ride around the city and then walked to some of the more interesting parts of the city. The women are for the most part short, little  indian women. Most are very friendly but you will see more beautiful women in Colombia in 10 minute then 10 months in Lima Peru. If you want to site see, Lima's OK. If you're looking for beautiful women stick to Colombia. My 2 cents.

Hi, I have been to Lima twice. I like the city very much, safe, and lot's of interesting historical sites.

I have read a lot of reviews from other men on this page and other places regarding the ladies from Lima. Those reviews were all positive.

My experiences there were less than positive, however.
I think the odds are much more in your favor in Colombia.

me.

I was there to see my girl in July, had no real problems to speak of. As Red Clay said, Milaflores is the good part of Lima, it is nice and clean. People are friendly and considerate. I almost had to change my underwear after the first taxi ride though. Food was great, never had better myself. I can get airfare to Lima from Minneapolis for $497.00 RT., can`t beat that deal !!! Much cheaper and safer than travel to Colombia. The women are beautiful, romantic and very passionate. I am going back on the 27 th. of this month again for a few days, can`t wait !!!!

I have been to Lima one time, a little over a year ago. The city is basically friendly enough and safe in most parts, there are a few that you might avoid to be safe. Miraflores is a large, modern district containing hotels, restaurants, lots of retail stores, along with several nice parks along the coast. The Plaza de Armas downtown has several very interesting sites, old buildings, lots of history. I would say that immediate area is safe during the day, but I wouldn't stray away from that immediate square day or night, without a local guide or person you can trust. The museo de oro is worth seeing, there are also several sets of Inca ruins that I enjoyed that are in or near the city. A place called Pachacamac, a pyramid site is well worth your time.
Most on here consider Peru to be safer overall than Colombia. Taxis and buses are cheap and plentiful, driving is crazy compared to here. Lots of poverty in the outskirts of the city. Airport in Lima was no problem, however lots of taxis/hustlers outside the airport waiting for you if you don't have a ride already lined up. They do not have access to the inside of the terminal, so you probably won't be bothered while you claim your bags, etc.
I highly recommend a book called Fodor's South America, has tons of accurate travel info, basically everything you need to know.
