Morning,

What's wrong baby? Stivalis is crying softly as we're walking back from the beach. I stop & drop our bags, honey tell me not now, but RIGHT NOW!
What's bugging you? Oh mi amore, I'm soo sorry how things have turned out. The bugs, the hotels, Boca Grande....Shhh, say no more baby. Yes, it has been quite an adventure to say the least. The most important thing was that we're together. I'd rather be here with you, then alone in NYC dreaming of being with you. We stayed in each other's arms for seemed like an hour. The heat, bugs or helicopters didn't matter. I was with Stivalis...that's all that mattered. As we're walking back to the Casa del Sol, we see 3 familiar figures running towards us. It was Edward, Marisol, Immilia. Oh mi dios, Stivlais signed. We had been tracked downed by Auntie & the primos.

Back at the del Sol, while me & Stivalis were freshening up, the primos watched the cable T.V. Howah, Howah! Que paso Marisol? Courage the Dog is on. She remembered, that "Courage" is my favorite cartoon. Yeah, that's right! I escape sometimes by watching a couple of toons. It's one of the best things you can do with your kids. Stivalis likes the power puff girls, this also happens to be my youngest daughter (Tamara) favorite also (Make a note Howard, get the females their own TV). Anyway, I pull Stivalis to the side. When was the last time these kids got out of the Bario? Stivalis checks w/Auntie who said, they haven't been to the beach in over a year. Hmmm, me & Stivalis look each other in the eyes & wink. Auntie, would you mind if the kids spent a day with us out here? All I remember hearing was POR FAVOR TIA, POR FAVOR!!!!

With this issue settled, we head to the dinning room to grab a bite. Auntie is whispering to me, that she has food at the house. It's not necessary for me to spend money. I assure her that, I will get to her delicious food later that day...lol. As we enter the room, we are greeted by the Americans & Colombians. Stivalis nudges me, telling me that Senor Alfred is in the room. HIM??? I'm not impressed. I head up to the front desk to use the phone. When one of the Americans said to me, I wish, I could be with my family. He was 5'10" give or take 180lbs. with a south-western accent. I reply with a "How ya doing?".
He was shook for a second. What brings you down here? Ooo, I'm with my fiancee. We wanted to visit family here & get away from Cali. We stared at each other for about 20 seconds. Look my man, Unlike 95 percent of our people back home. I know why your here. I have no questions for you. Just watch your back, so you can get back to your family. He replied...Everyday bro, every dayyuum day.

This was my first contact with any of the Americans. I was introduced to a couple of other Americans & a few Colombians. The conversation was kept very light. When ESPN came on the TV, I jumped up to get an update on my World Champion New York Yankees (what a shameless plug...lol). A couple of the guys were Texas Ranger fans. The Yankees suck! Why did he have to go and say that? I had to remind him that, after they paid A-Rod a quarter of a billion dollars, they're losing more games than the year before & the Mariners are winning more....WHO SUCKS NOW?Huh The gent started laughing & patted me on my back & requested the barmaid to bring me a beer. Stivalis came over to the table, and they all stood up at the same time...Buenas Senorita. Lo Siento Senor's....It's Senora ( You still wonder why I luv this woman...lol)!!!! Stivalis wasn't digging being around these guys anymore than necessary. Howard, the children are ready...hint hint, it's time to go!!!!
