Just something to think about....

I posted a question about insurance for our fiances and got two responses.

A no-name from Panama posts an unsubstantiated attack and there are 50 people chiming in.

Interesting.  What does that say about how this place has degenerated.

Well, I just didn't know what to tell you.....what would Joe Smuck know about health insurance unless he's in the business? Actually, your follow up post (that you can buy short term through a source other than your work) told me MORE that I knew before, and I'll keep it it mind for when Y. gets here.  Sometimes people don't post a good response simply because they don't know the corret answer and would rather say nothing than risk saying something that might be wrong.  Don't take the lack of responses as  disresprct or "we don't care". take it as "we don't know and don't want to tell you something that might be wrong"

First of all, the insurance question was just an example of how very little useful facts are offered here anymore. But, to follow up MY EXPERIENCE was that no one was gonna write temp insurance to someone without a green card or that has not lived in TX for over one year. Therefore, I will just wait for a month and hope for the best until she is on my companies insurance.  Maybe others will have some better luck.  

Mouse, sorry to rain on your parade but I could care less what you think or say.  To me, you are a nobody sitting behind a keyboard, just like Malandro. You sacrificed the good of many others that I'm sure were interested in order to somehow get back at me...boy, you really showed me.  I think I'm gonna go cry.

I was here for selfish reasons to a large degree.  While I have volunteered much information that many people have publicly stated that helped them, I usually come here to learn.  If everyone would absorb what is useful, reject that what is useless (to them), add some of their own experiences (not a bunch of wannabees sittin' on the fence spoutin' out morals and useless flames)...this place would be more useful, like it once was.

I have found my treasure, and she's sitting here next to me.  There is nothing left for me on this board...it has degenerated into a collection of the dark underbelly of the MOB scene.  

For those of you who I admire and/or admired here, I want to thank you for everything...Pete, Jim, Buzzy, Larry, Doug Y., HD, etc...This board served it's purpose for me, but now it offers little.

because it will be interesting and helpful for the guys here to know how your new life go and what are the ups and downs in your way. And you can also get help here or opinions on how to approach a situation. Anyway, good luck and congratulations in your new life.

    I regret anyone leaving who has a  sense of integrity and speaks what he really feels rather than playing games with, our members. Please stop in from time to time. I really believe that Patrick will direct this board back to honesty and still allow a bit of wit and sarcastic banter.
