Thanks for responding Golden.  Could you describe the sensibilities of Peruanas?  What experiences did you have?

Well i only know things from the view point of what i know about one lady, because i didnt date different Peruvian women. I talked to my lady for about 6 months on MSN chat before i went down there(e-mail sux compared to chatting..i like to chat ..my opinion) She responded to a singles ad i placed....so, with that in mind.. from my presepective.....Peruvian women are very loving, sweet, loyal, kind, and view family as the most important thing. She is very very close to her family, and always thinks of her family and of her future family with me. She will make a great wife and mother. She has goals both for family and work, she graduated college so has drive to achieve things..she is a dentist and wants her own office....she is very supportive of my goals and thoughts, and we both have made adjusments for what we want together in life for our future together ....she is very loving, meaning she likes to hold hands, kiss, hug one another...very affectionate...the thought down there is that many american men seem rather cold, because when friends meet there they hug and kiss each other on cheek lots of times, (guys shake hands)..im talking about when meeting mom or a lady friend of hers...seems most americans are more reserve with strangers to her and less talkative....so it was a suprise to her when i talked to her friends and joked around with them and fit right in, ....(see what happens when you stereo type....he he he Smiley....all neighbors know each other, and are friendly....makes you think more of how it was here back in the 40's or 50's..closer communittes (is funny because now i think of it , houses here in USA use to have big porches in the front and now most houses have porches (or decks as we call them) in back of the house ...seems we have moved to a more closed society than we use to be and dont want other peps seeing what we doing so moved things behind our house...just a thought of mine) . .i think  because things are harder there, they depend on family and friends to help each ohter more than we do....and they like to have lots of friends over and socialize...people always in and out of the house......the times i have been there, people have been very friendly and courteous to me, never had problem except time i took a bus and dude tried to charge me twice...which i didnt pay, and made them let me off...be sure to take a ticket when you pay when taking a bus in lima.....ohhh ha ha ha ..the taxi peps...they always trying to get ya cause they think you have money, so they like to hike up the fare you pay cause your a white guy(aka american)...you need to get good talking to them about the price...before you get in..even so they have been nice.....everbody else is cool...no hassels but i would suggest sticking around mira flores/san isdro area....dont know anything about the discos though....because my novia has steered me clear of them, we been to busy anways to go to one,..so dont know what the clubs are like.....only attitude i seen is when i go out to eat with my girl, ive seen couple girls (waitress) waiting on us giving my chica the look up and down ..but that goes on here, she never pays attention to it anyways...she pretty chill about that kind of stuff...but i noticed it.........anyway that about the gist of my knowledge...dont know if helps are not....but gives you somewhat an idea.....in short, peruvian women, are very friendly, family oriented, loyal, supportive, sweet, love to dance, and practicle, and have hopes and dreams just like you and i......hope helps, Golden

Golden,

I wanted details about your trip to Cuba. From everything I have learned, that country will be the highlight of my Latin American tour.

Did you post about it here?  If so, where?
