News reports tornadoes on BQ coastline.  Three killed, 200 hurt.  Storm destroyed "zinc and cinderblock homes."  I know what cinderblock is, but "zinc?"  Anyone know what this is identifying?  The roof? I don't know.

I talked to my fiance...I had asked her if they had tornados down there about a month ago...she said she can't remember any, but it had happened before years ago. Now, she VERY aware of what one is...apparently the whole city is completely freaked out...I think she said three of the dead were children and there are many people homeless...

Later,
Mike

Buzzy, You're right they had Tornados in BQ....I asked my fiancee and she had never heard of Tornados...although she said they have incredible rain storms (which could be almost like tornados)..and they do have Hurricanes, although not often.

The zinc roofs are what we call 'Tin'...very common down there for the less well off.

First I had ever heard of Tornados myself....so add that to the list...Don't Drink the water, Don't lick the Breasts of Beautiful Young Women you don't know...and watch out for Tornados...LOL..so now that your list of things to watch out for is complete....when you going...Huh

Regards, Houndog
