If anyone could recommend a Latin American agency going to Columbia or Mexico that would be great!  I just decided to go somewhere during the week of July 4th, but I've never done anything like this before; and I don't yet have any correspondence with women overseas.

I was considering going to the Latin Lifemates tour on the 4th.  They charge $975 for a lifetime of service, but you pay for room (About $50 night) and airfare whenever you go.  Is this agency any good (sounds expensive)?  Can you recommend others?

There is a difference between tours and agencies.Tours cost alot of money and you have 2-3 days to deal with 100's of girls who may have just showed up for the dinner and drinks.
At an a agency you can take your time,read about the girls and then interview who you want to,with a translater if you need one.
Also many of the "agencies" are middlemen who charge you $ just to send you to someone you could have gone directly to.
I met my wife at Latin love in Cali 18 months ago.I was very pleased with them.No fees except paying for your $100 a night room.(for a fabulous place to stay)They have been sold I am told and I have heard negative reports about the new management(not at all responsive).I think you can now stay there for $60 or so.
Norms agency in Cali has a good reputation and I think he charges $50 a night.He is at paulsen@colombianet.net.He also has a web site but I don't have the address.
In Bogota Nelsons agency has a good reputation.Someone else posted the address here.
Why add $1000 to what you will be spending anyway?You can stay for 3 weeks not 3 days.This process takes some time.

Hey Pete,

Thanks for the info.  I'm turned onto the tours with an agency because it sounds like a lot of fun having dinner parties and touring with a group.  Going alone just doesn't sound that great, especially when you don't know any Spanish.  I suppose my intention is different:  For me it's a vacation in the hopes of finding a romance, but having a good time doing it too.  I'm not going down there to get married, but I'd snatch the right girl if I found her!  The book sold at gringos.com appears to indicate that agencies are a waste of money too.  I'm just not sure if there's a better alternative for my first go at this.

I was unable to get much from paulsen@colombianet.net because it's in Spanish...Thanks for trying though.  With that said, where can someone get a quickie training course in Spanish?

paulsen@colombianet.net is just an email address, did you find a Spanish language website with a similar name? The Two Gringos Guide does not state that agencies in general are a bad option, but rather that there are many middlemen simply reselling the services of Colombian agencies at a higher price. Their forum, as well as this one serves as a good place to learn about the various agencies as well as other options. Our url is at mylatinwomen.com an at the moment is under contruction but viewable.

I'm not sure how I got confused about the email address, but it is a site.  

I've heard good things about your agency.  Do you offer tours of any kind?  If not, is it because you find them unnecessary, or just not legite?  I've heard that some companies only get girls there because of free food...

  In Bogota I said Nelson's agencie is your prim dirrective. You listed others, so let me tell you:

* Heart to Heart : sells Address of ladies. they are associated with Latin Love Mates in cali. on a scale to one too 10 they are a 7. But Do not depend on life time membership yet there is still a lot of change still going on. LLM seems to keep thire web site up to date.

*Latin internet is a Cali angencie thire web site is out of date Ladies on there are taken already on a scale to 1 to 10 they are a 5 they need work on custermer service.


*Latin Love connection: sell address of ladies, if you want to sit at home and wait to see if anyone loves you, go for it.


*TLC worldwide, Inc. : they sell address, But thire tours get a lot of turn out. the next Cali trip should be good. Think about this you spend 4 or 5 hours with 4 or 500 women ... do you really get to know any one.


*Latin Encounters : is about a 6 try your luck.


* Latin Magic Introductions : another address co.

I recomend that you just go and have fun, but keep an eye out for the sharks. Not the the FRAC.

Thanks for your thorough analysis of the agencies that I listed.  I'm impressed that you know so much about all of them (how'd you become so familiar with them?).  It sounds like Latin American Introductions is still the best alternative with TLC also being a good choice.  

It turns out that Latin Love Connections also has tours.  Of course, I don't know how good they are.  Also, are the girls of Latin Internet only a 5?  I'm a little disappointed since I was seriously considering them.  Heart to Heart also seemed OK as well.

I guess the big question really is: Who has the cuttest girls anyway?  I'm assuming that Latin American Introductions and TLC probably do.  And, who has the least attractive women?  Sorry, I just had to ask.

Hola Mr. Just Curious,

I have been there, done that. When you go down there you will make lots Gringo friends at the agencies and they can tell you thire war stories. Some Gringos learn by experice.

Latin love Connections Agencie is a 5 because the of cost and return on investment.

One more word about sending letters: as you are sending the letter thire could be a Gringo down there already dating the girl, or she could have just gotten married and she did not remove her address from the agencie you bought it from. A lot of the girls join different agencies and the good ones do not last that long single. Are you willing to waite 3 to 4 weeks to see if you get a reply.

Here is another link you might like, But it will cost a one time fee of $22.00 to buy the Guide and use thire web site. the site is full of info. on seeking a wife and most of the agencie owners read it consistently and some post new happening all the time.

Don't wast your time or money at Latin Life Mates, they used to be the top agencie in Bogota when they were useing Nelson's agencie Latin American Introductions. Now you can deal derrectly with Nelson in Bogota or his associates in TX. His web sit is www.laintro.com ... You can trust that he is going to be around for a long time. A lot of agencies are going under. Nelson can get you hotel rates from $30. to $50 per night

Thanks for the advice!  Latin American Introductions has all the pretty girls Latin Life Mates has, but more of them.  Their fee is the same, but I'm willing to pay a high price for a better agency.

Here are the agencies I'm considering from surfing the internet.  The ones at the top are my primary choices now because they have tours during my vacation schedule.  The others also appear to be good, but it's too hard to tell from just the internet!

Does anyone recommend one over the other?  Should any be avoided?  Are there any other equivalent or better choices?

I am no expert and have not made the trip down yet but I was reading a review of some of the agencies at the singles guide site.  The writer of the review did not seem to care much for Latin Magic.  Also these reviews may be a bit old I don't know.
