The CC transaction on the WWW site hung up so I called Customer Service 800-832-8875 on a Sunday afternoon and the tech gave me a free $10 PIN to use while I wait for them to push it through.

About $.08/min to a land line in Mindanao and $.11 to a cell (per OutWest). Amounts vary up/down a tad for whatever reason but not much. No connect fee.

Bad ones:

TCI advertised $.05 and WOW advertised $.07, but got only half that from both and customer support is useless. This was to land line on Mindanao, might be different to Manila, but screw 'em.

I hate that company now,

The last time i bought a card i got 96 mins to a cell in the phils for 10 bucks

This time i bought another 10 dollar card 3 days ago,
dialed the number it said,,,,,,,,,,you have 61 minutes available.

about par for the course, with these types of companies
bait and switch

with this phone card stuff. There's a zillion of them but its sounds to me like only a handful of places you get when you actually dial up. Maybe the providers are screwing around, have funky equipment or the rates change by day and time. The Telecom business is whacked.

OutWest- was it the World 4 Less card? Did you call CS at 800-832-8875?

Yup world 4 less , last time i got 96, this time i get 61

happens every time i find a good rate to a cell phone, they slash the minutes

Have not used it yet, but the rate chart says 102 minutes to a cell- and has a better land line rate than I am using, so I'm curious how it works.

world4 less $5.00 for 63 min to land line i have used it for 2 years

I can get 63 for 5 bucks or 119 for 10 bucks to a landline, no problem

but last time i got it from tel3prepaid, 10 bucks got me 96 minutes to a cell phone,

this time i get 61, thats bull....*&*

I think the way out for them is this............it does not quote the cell phone minutes on the price list, it just says, cell phone charges are higher

So if they change the cell phone minutes, slash them, who can say what you got before? its not on their rate chart so they just throw up their hands and say,, oh well.......
