I met one of my Filipina friends at the mall today, and she invited me to go
to her house to meet her family. We hopped in a taxi, and here is the
conversation that we had on the way to her house:

Her:  There are many whores in my neighborhood
Me: Um what ?
Yes, you will see them when we are near to my place
Ok
There are many whores in the streets
Um ok
Are there any whores in America ?
Uh, yes, I guess so
You want to see them ?  I will show you !
Uh ok, why so many whores in your neighborhood?
My street is very old, they have always been there.
Oh, ok
See, this is my neighborhood, see all the whores
Uh, ok
See, there is another one, right there !
Uh ok
You ever ride the whores before ?
What ?
You ever ride the whores ?   it is fun !
What ??
We call then tartanillas, but in Manila they call them calesas
Calesas ?  What ?  Calesas ??  OH !!!   HORSES !!!!   :0)

 I would love to have seen the expression on your face when she said how much fun it is to ride the whores!  LOL   What would you have said if she had asked you to go ride the whores together?!   I can just imagine you might be thinking, "Well she may be a bit loose morally but jealousy will never be a problem!"

Hi Steve,
 Yes, we did ride the horse (calesa).  It was fun until the horse let out a little utot.
I actually tried to explain to her what I was laughing about, but I never could explain it well enough for her to understand, her English is only ok.

 Yeah, the explanation could get you in trouble because she might think you know too much about the subject!  haha  I think you did the best by just riding the horse and dropping just dropping it.

Reminds me of my X, a latina. She went to college in the US (before I met her) and while she passed the English test to get in, she still had some problems with the language. She told me that once she got mad and told some guys "That's the most disgusting thing I've ever heard! Not only is it immoral, you rich Americans have a machine for EVERYTHING".

What was she talking about? Some of the guys had told her they were going to spend spring break in Las Vegas playing the "s l u t" machines.

Jeff I know what you mean but I want to do it in Brazil near a nice beach. My girlfriend(hopefully future wife) wants to buy property in Brazil also and has done well saving money. Maybe in 20 years I will veg in the sun and sip coconuts all day.

Hi Jim,
 I love it here !   I have no plans to move back to the USA. Almost every American I meet here either lives here and does not want to return, or they are trying to figure out a way to stay full-time.
